Sick calls, falls are top emergency calls for McClain-Grady EMS

McClain-Grady County Emergency Medical Services had 280 total calls for the month of June 2025.

Of those, 169 were billed calls and 111 were non-transport. McClain-Grady EMS had an average response time of 7.67 minutes and an average miles per patient transport of 11.74. They provided mutual aid on eight calls.

Leading the types of calls in which they responded were sick calls, falls and automotive accidents.

The types of calls were the following: 12 abdominal pain, 1 alcohol intoxication, 2 allergic reaction, 6 altered consciousness, 2 animal bite, 6 anxiety episode, 5 assault, 3 ATV accident, 32 auto accident, 4 cardiac arrest, 20 chest pain, 1 choking, 4 event standby, 44 fall, 1 fire standby, 2 hemorrhage, 1 hyperglycemia, 2 hypertension, 2 hypoglycemia, 1 industrial accident, 1 laceration, 12 lift assist, 4 overdose, 8 seizure, 23 shortness of breath, 58 sick call, 1 sports injury, 4 stroke, 17 syncope, and 1 traumatic injury.
