Newcastle Non-Profits
Newcastle area non-profit entities were the focus during the June Newcastle Chamber of Commerce Impact Luncheon.
Each year the Chamber plans a special luncheon to shed light on those who help others in need in the community, and those who provide services in support of the community.
Among the recognized was the Newcastle Education Foundation. It was discontinued at the end of the former superintendent of schools’ tenure, but is now being restarted.
The NEF 2025-26 Board of Directors provided a statement, saying, “Yesterday, our officers had the opportunity to be a part of the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce annual non-profit luncheon. We were able to present our vision for the future of NEF as well as meet some amazing community partners “We are looking forward to connecting more with these amazing businesses and partner with them as we head into our new school year.”
