MATC students compete at HOSA International Leadership Conference

Mid-America Technology Center (MATC) had several students who competed at the 2025 HOSA International Leadership Conference (ILC), held in Nashville, Tennessee. This event is a highlight for future health professionals across the nation, and MATC students made a strong impression once again.

Following their top performances at the Oklahoma HOSA State Leadership Conference, 15 MATC students advanced to ILC, where they earned national recognition. Placing were: 1st Place- Erica Bond – Job Seeking Skills; Eric Price – Medical Law & Ethics 2nd Place- Emilia Hall – Physical Therapy 3rd Place- Makayla Huff, Chloe Ince, Riley Snow, and Alisha Williams – Biomedical Debate team Samantha Johnson – Human Growth & Development 4th Place- Kaitlyn Griffith – Extemporaneous Writing; Brock Driscoll – Health Care Photography; Kinsley Landrith – Research Poster; Robert Blevins – World Health & Disparities in Healthcare 5th Place- Danelle Moistner – Pathophysiology 6th Place- Andrew Watters – Sports Medicine HOSA–Future Health Professionals is an international student-led organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE. Its mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health services through student leadership and skill development.
