Sherrie Conley speaking on sexual assault
McClain County Republican party chairman Paul Maus said, “Join us at our next McClain County GOP meeting this month on Monday June 16 as we hear from former State Representative Sherrie Conley.,” Maus said Conley will be talking about the dangers of sexual assault lurking on school campuses and how it can impact you even if you don’t have a student in the school.
Conley says this silent epidemic is threatening the safety of youth in schools, but it also brings a hidden cost that many are not aware of.
Maus said, “We look forward to meeting you at the Newcastle Storm shelter located at 851 North Carr Drive in Newcastle at 7 p.m.”
This meeting had been cancelled earlier due to severe weather in the area.
