In the May 29 issue of the Newcastle Pacer we inadvertently published the 2024-25 budget of the City of Newcastle. We meant to publish the newly proposed 2025-26 budget.
The correct legal publication is published in this week’s issue of the Pacer on page 7.
We regret this error and any inconvenience it may have caused. As noted on the legal publication, a public hearing on the City’s budget proposal is at 6 p.m., Monday, June 9.
