State Highway 130 between the Newcastle Sports Complex and State Highway 76 will be closed for four weeks starting Monday (June 9) as crews work to widen the SH-76/SH-130 intersection.
This work is part of the overall widening project for SH-76 by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
Haskell Lemon Group is the contractor on the job for ODOT.
Tammy Robinson, of Haskell Lemon Group, said, “We plan to close this stretch of roadway beginning on Monday, June 9. It will be closed for up to four weeks. The advance warning message boards went out today to start alerting regular drivers.”
Detour routes were announced on social media.
