Newcastle senior Katelyn Lewis was recently named The Oklahoman’s Student of the Week.
The Oklahoman states that Lewis has maintained a 4.0 grade point average throughout high school, ranks #9 in her class, and scored a 32 on her ACT.
The Oklahoman reports that Lewis takes college courses, and she is a talented musician, having served as first chair percussionist in the band for the last two years.
