Racer Soccer teams end year in 1st round at State

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association Class 4A State Soccer Championships got underway on Monday May 5.

In first round action, the Racers played against Community Christian School, but took the season-ending overtime loss, 7-5. Bethany moved forward in the State Championship bracket to play Skiatook at 8 p.m. tonight (Thursday) at Bethany.

The Racers ended their season with a 10-5 record.

The Racer girls opened play against Bethany, but also ended their season with a 3-2 loss. Bethany goes on to play Oklahoma Christian School at 6 p.m. today (Thursday) at Bethany.

Newcastle’s girls ended their 2025 season with an 11-4 record.
