Mid-America Technology Center announced that Purcell Municipal Hospital is the 2025 OkACTE Partner in Progress for its continued dedication to student education, professional development, and community healthcare.
Purcell Municipal Hospital, a dedicated acute care facility, has been serving Purcell and its surrounding communities since 1970. With a mission to enhance the health and wellbeing of its patients through exceptional, compassionate, and personalized care, the hospital has remained a trusted healthcare provider for decades.
The spokesperson said that under the leadership of Chris Wright (CEO/CNO), Taylor Costante (Lab Director), and Sheila Hayden (Nurse Manager), the hospital has been instrumental in providing clinical rotation opportunities for students enrolled in Mid-America’s full-time and shortterm adult health programs.
The OkACTE Partners in Progress Award is a prestigious recognition presented by the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education (OkACTE) and the OATC.
