Racer girls 7th, boys 8th at Conference Track & Field Meet
Newcastle girls placed seventh and the boys placed eighth at the 2025 Western Conference High School Track and Field Championships at Chickasha Tuesday, April 22. The girls scored 70 points and the boys scored 46 points.
Scoring points for the girls were: Gracie Haskins, Addy Bush, Katie Lewis, Hadlee Mann, Emma Bell, Leighton Wooten, KK Horton, Rylee Heskew, Chesney McLean, Riley Hart, and Jordie Brooks.
Scoring points for the boys were: Alec Shumard, Blake Moslander, Luke Perkins, Chris Brinlee, Timo Porter, Kael Brickman, Garrett Pratt, and TJ Bradford.
The Racers will travel to the Duncan meet tomorrow (Friday), then Regionals are Saturday, May 10 and the State Championships are May 16-17 at Western Heights.
