City Clerk Camille Dowers administered the oath of office to returning Newcastle City Council members Gene Reid, Karl Nail, and Mike Fullerton. Reid and Nail did not have opposition in the April 1 election, while Fullerton retained his seat by recieving the most votes against Jon Malcolm.
