Democrats tout government projects under Joe Biden

To the Editor:

As we settle into a nation with a new president, I would like to take a moment to thank retired President Joe Biden for all he has done for our people in Oklahoma. This list does not begin to cover all of the projects that are now in the planning stages but will be completed soon.

Let’s reflect on some of the incredible ways President Joe Biden has helped Oklahomans with the most significant investments in infrastructure. We took a moment to compile a list of a few projects in Oklahoma that have been made possible through Bidenomics!

1.) Cimarron County will receive $405k for highway safety improvements.

2.) Beaver County will receive $129m towards a new Ponderosa II wind plant

3.) Garfield County $2.2m for clean water initiatives

4.) Otoe-Missouria Tribe to receive $1.5m for recycling infrastructure and initiatives

5.) Pryor $320m new Canoo Electric Vehicle (EV) battery module manufacturing facility 6.) Ottawa County $4m to increase high-speed internet access

7.) Cherokee Nation to receive $43k for clean air programs and initiatives 8.) Muskogee $1b new Stardust Power Lithium Refinery

9.) Tenkiller Ferry Lake now has an additional $10m for flood risk management initiatives 10.) McCurtain County will spend $121m to increase high-speed internet access.

11.) Seminole Nation was gifted $13m for broadband and connectivity improvements.

12.) Pontotoc County received $187m new Avangrid wind project that will power 40K homes.

13.) Jefferson County now has $7m to increase high-speed internet access 14.) Kiowa County received $155m for the North Folk Solar Facility, which will power 30k homes.

15.) Caddo County has $366k for highway safety improvements

16.) The City of Shawnee and Shawnee Public Schools received $1.5m for zero-emissions school initiatives.

17.) Will Rogers World Airport received $4.5m towards upgrades to airport terminals

18.) Canton Lake $4m for flood risk management initiatives.

This proves that Democrats deliver; we’re committed to building a better America and protecting our freedoms. Democrats will continue to work to stop big corporations from taking advantage of our workers and environment.
