Six Newcastle students recently auditioned for the East Central Oklahoma Choral Directors Association Honor Choir and three were selected.
A uditions were held at Rose State College in Midwest City in early October.
Newcastle Public Schools sources said high schoolers Aubrey Cain and Madison Claypool, and junior high student Hunter Duggan will take part in the ECOCDA Festival in November. They will rehearse with a clinician and put on a free, public concert.
