Members of the Youth Leadership Oklahoma Class of 2024 were recently announced and a Newcastle student was among recipients.
Kolson Wood of Tuttle, a Newcastle High School student, is part of this year’s class. He will be among youth traveling June 2-7 to Edmond, Norman, Lawton, Sulphur, Tulsa, Stillwater, Enid and Oklahoma City.
Youth Leadership of Oklahoma establishes leadership opportunities for Oklahoma’s youth and ensures a deeper understanding of the critical issues facing the state.
It is also a way to entice Oklahoma youth to stay in, or return to, Oklahoma to work and raise their families.
