The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and Oklahoma Successful Adulthood Program will be hosting a Landlord Luncheon in Norman on the University of Oklahoma’s campus on August 29, 2018 from 11am-1pm. This will be our third FREE luncheon to host across the state that allows landlords the opportunity to discover the importance housing has in the recovery process. Landlords have the chance to network and learn about what it means to rent to target populations– chronically homeless, homeless veterans, transitional age youth exiting DHS custody, prison reentry individuals and those experiencing mental health issues and/or substance abuse—and how we can be a resource to you when problems arise. The luncheon is geared towards landlords, property owners, and property management teams and our hope is that you leave with a better understanding of Housing First principles and local resources that are available to individuals in the community. If you would like to register for the luncheon (Space is limited and a RSVP is required.) or have any questions, please contact Joshua DeBartolo at Joshua.DeBartolo@odmhsas.org or 405-227-9429.
