Renee Stanford age 64 of Newcastle, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her home. She was born March 31, 1954 in Oklahoma City. She was the oldest of five children born to Charley Alexander Keen and Wanda Merle (Pamplin) Keen. Renee grew up in South OKC and attended U. S. Grant High School, graduating with the class of 1972. Two years later she married the love of her life, Billy Stanford. They were married on July 12, 1974 in OKC and together raised four children, Kimme, Shawn, Aaron and Ryan. They made their home in OKC for 17 years before moving to Newcastle in 1991.
Renee worked mainly as a homemaker, wife and mother who also home schooled her children. After her children were grown, she worked at various jobs and for the past 15 years she has been a Mary Kay Cosmetic Consultant.
Renee was a faithful Christian and always attended church wherever she was living. She grew up attending Knob Hill Baptist Church, later attending Brookwood Baptist, Cole Baptist and recently Lexington First Baptist. For many years she taught Vacation Bible School, sang in the church choir and helped with church musicals. She was known for her unshakable faith in the Lord, even through all of her physical problems. In her later years she enjoyed babysitting grandchildren, watching cooking shows on TV, cooking and having family get-togethers.

Kerry Keen and wife Vickie of OKC,
A sister-in-law, Debbie Keen of OKC,
Mother-in-law, Georgia Stanford of Newcastle,
Other relatives including, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, May 25, 2018 at Knob Hill Baptist Church, 2700 SW, 59th, OKC. Interment will be at Newcastle Memorial Gardens in Newcastle, OK.
