A Newcastle student was honored by the University of Oklahoma for her outstanding academic performance.
Lacey Ritter was one of 342 students named to the Dean’s Honor Roll at the OU College of Allied Health. Ritter, a graduate of Newcastle High School, is pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Ritter is the daughter of Harold and Patricia Ritter, both of Newcastle.
To be named to the Dean’s Honor Roll at the College of Allied Health, an undergraduate student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours with a minimum 3.5 grade-point average.
